Dow Chemical to Build Algae-based Biorefinery

Dow Chemical announced plans to build and operate a pilot-scale algae-based integrated biorefinery with algenol biofuels. The company plans to develop the advanced materials and specialty films for the photobioreactor system. The facility is planned to be located at Dow's Freeport, Texas, U.S. site.
