DKSH and NuTek Sign Distribution Agreement

Switzerland-headquartered DKSH and Omaha, Nebraska, USA-based NuTek Food Science have signed a distribution agreement for DKSH to import, distribute and promote NuTek’s potassium salt in Japan and Korea.

The naturally sourced potassium salt is used in the manufacturing of food products including soups, seasoning and bakery. According to NuTek it uses a salt replacement technology to reduce the sodium in the salt while replacing it with potassium, a necessary and widely under-consumed nutrient.

“DKSH is very pleased to begin its partnership with NuTek Food Science in Japan and Korea. Worldwide, we see increasing focus on the health risks of high salt intake. NuTek Science’s potassium salt is a very attractive solution to DKSH’s broad base of food manufacturing customers in North Asia. DKSH very much looks forward to a long and prosperous relationship with NuTek Food Science and to contributing further to the health and wellness of consumers,” said Ben Hopkins, vice president, Global Business Line Food & Beverage Industry, DKSH.
