The technology expert Camelot ITLab was awarded the Innovationspreis-IT by Initiative Mittelstand for its certified Camelot LEAN Suite in the category "Best of ERP 2014". The competition's prize-giving ceremony took place at the CeBIT in Hannover. In its justification, the jury emphasized the high innovative content of the SAP certified Camelot LEAN Suite, which also contributes to the supply chain optimization of small and medium-sized companies. This places the Camelot ITLab solution in the top bracket of more than 5,000 submitted applications.

Since 2004, the Initiative Mittelstand of the publishing company Huber Verlag has been awarding the Innovationspreis-IT for new media which advocate the promotion of communication within small and medium-sized companies. The award goes to innovative and practical products, services and solutions regarding information technology and communication for small and medium-sized German companies. This year, the patron of the award was the Bundesverband IT-Mittelstand e.V. (BITMi).

Mario Baldi, CEO of Camelot ITLab, comments on the Innovationspreis-IT award: "We are glad to have been able to convince a renowned expert jury consisting of more than 100 scientists, sectoral specialists and specialised journalists with the Camelot LEAN Suite. Our solution can also be used by small and medium-sized customers to further utilise the potential of the SAP Supply Chain Management application (SAP SCM) and to optimise their supply chain across all production stages and national frontiers.
