Songwon Appoints Thomas Schmutz as Director of Global Technical Service

Songwon Industrial Group has announced that as of April 1, Thomas Schmutz has taken over the role of Director of Global Technical Service from Joachim Bayer, who moves into a strategic business management role.

Thomas will be responsible for leading the Technical Service Team, providing technical direction for our entire product range - antioxidants, light stabilizers, acid scavengers, PVC stabilizers, tin intermediates, plasticizers, lubricants, surface coating agents, polyurethanes, alkylphenols, biphenols and flocculants - and supporting the commercial organization in implementing value propositions and new product introductions.

Thomas joins Songwon having held senior leadership positions most recently at Chemtura Europe, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Dow Europe.
