Pugh-Apollo-Veterans, a distributor of US nationally branded and private label finished lubricants, fuel, antifreeze, diesel exhaust fluid and other ancillary product lines, has acquired Norcross, Georgia-based Halco Lubricants for an undisclosed sum.

Halco is an established regional distributor of lubricants active in the southeastern region of the US, covering Georgia, South Carolina and portions of North Carolina from its locations in Norcross and Augusta, Georgia, and Columbia, South Carolina.

The addition of the Georgia distributor marks the third business enlargement for Pugh Lubricants in the past three years, following its 2017 acquisition and incorporation of Apollo and Veterans.

Mike Pugh, President of Pugh-Apollo-Veterans, said the company’s new distribution activity reinforces its position as a “best-in-class organization for customers, suppliers, and employees.”

Alan Parker, president of Halco Lubricants, said the takeover by Pugh, Apollo, Veterans will provide opportunities for growth. “The combined resources and experience of the two companies will allow us to enhance our service and offerings to our customers, create improved alignment with our suppliers, and offer our employees career and professional development opportunities,” he said.
