Maroon Buys Distributor U.S. Chemicals

Maroon Group has acquired U.S. Chemicals, a specialty chemicals distributor based in Darien, Connecticut, USA, for an undisclosed sum. Maroon’s president and CEO, Mark Reichard, said the acquisition significantly broadens the company’s product portfolio, service offerings and customer base. The distributor, based in Avon, Ohio, supplies specialty additives, resins and pigments to more than 900 manufacturers in a variety of industries. It has warehouses in Avon and Cleveland, Ohio, and Chicago, Illinois as well as 10 distribution centres scattered throughout North America.
