Markus Pinger To Become New CEO Of Celesio

Markus Pinger will take over the helm of Celesio Aug. 15.

Celesio has appointed Markus Pinger, currently a member of the management board at Beiersdorf, as new chairman of the management board and CEO of the company. Pinger will assume his new responsibility as of Aug. 15. He will be succeeding Dr. Fritz Oesterle, who is leaving the company on June 30. Wolfgang Mähr, member of Celesio's management board, will act as interim chairman of the management board during the transition period from July 1-Aug. 15.
