Management Changes at AllessaChemie

AllessaChemie made changes within its senior management structure at the beginning of February. Dr. Werner Spielmann has retired as managing director. At the same time, Almuth Poetz has been appointed President and CEO. She will lead the company together with a newly established leadership team, which consists of Dr. Lukas von Hippel, VP Business Functions, Dr. Joachim Kögler, VP Operations and Jochen Schwiersch, CFO.

Lukas von Hippel, who has been head of Marketing and Sales over the past four years, will now lead the department Business Functions and will be responsible for Marketing and Sales, Research and Development, Raw Material Sourcing and Product Safety.

The Operations department comprises Production, Technology, Analytics and production related Services. It will be headed by Joachim Kögler, who was responsible for Production and Technology.

Jochen Schwiersch has recently joined AllessaChemie and will be responsible for the Finance and Administration department, which includes Finance and Accounting, IT and Technical Procurement.
