Lurgi to Manage Technology Coordination for Hydrocracker

Air Liquide subsidiary Lurgi recently received an order from OJSC "TAIF-NK", Nijhnekamsk, Tatarstan, to manage the technology coordination for a hydrocracker and downstream process units to be built in the Russian refinery TAIF-NK. Lurgi's task will be to monitor the interaction between the processes implemented and coordinate the corresponding licensors. The goal of the project is to raise the refinery capacity from 7 to 9.1 million tons of oil per year and adapt the quality of the fuel products to the Euro 5 standard.
