Lonza Obtains French Antitrust Clearance For Arch Chemicals Offer

Lonza Group, a supplier to the life science industries, said it has obtained antitrust clearance from the Autorité de la Concurrence in France for its tender offer for 100% of the outstanding shares of common stock of Arch Chemicals.

The tender offer is at a price of $47.20 per share in cash and remains subject to antitrust clearance in the U.S. The tender offer had previously been extended to September 30. It may be further extended if its conditions remain unsatisfied.
