Lilly Names New Business Leaders

Eli Lilly and Co says John Johnson will lead the oncology business unit. Johnson currently serves as chief executive officer of ImClone Systems. Lilly also announced that Enrique Conterno will lead the diabetes business unit, Bryce Carmine will lead the established markets business unit and Jeffrey Simmons will lead Elanco, the animal health business unit. The new roles will become effective on Nov. 1, 2009.
