Laurie Heilmann Named as Codexis’ SVP of Business Development and Marketing

Codexis appointed Laurie Heilmann as senior vice president of Business Development and Marketing. In her new role she will be responsible for developing the strategies and overseeing the company’s execution to grow global revenues, expand and deepen customer reach, and penetrate a widening set of industrial markets.

Heilmann has more than 30 years of leadership experience across the life sciences industry. Most recently she was president of Global Life Sciences and Diagnostics at Crown Bioscience. Prior to this position, Heilmann served as the company’s chief business officer and as SVP, Global Strategy, Business Development and Marketing. Earlier in her career, she served for 25 years in various sales, management and business development roles at several firms, including Strong-Bridge Consulting, Image Metrix-American College of Radiology, and Ockham Development Group.
