Krahn Chemie Distributes EVA of Braskem

Early this year, Braskem Europe granted the Hamburg distributor Krahn Chemie the sales rights for ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers (EVA) of the Brazilian holding company Braskem. Both companies have been working together for many years in successfully marketing UTEC UHMW-PE.
The EVA products known under the brand name Evateno are marketed by Krahn Chemie in the segments adhesives, cables, shoes and compounds throughout Europe, with the exception of Great Britain and Italy, and are available from one central European storage center. Types are currently being offered with a VA content of 19 - 28 % and a MFI of 2.5 - 150g/10min. Higher MFI are currently being developed and shall be introduced midyear.
