Ineos Technology for New EPS Plant in Qatar

Ineos Technologies has licensed its process for regular and flame retardant expandable polystyrene to EPS Qatar for use in a new production complex to be built in the Doha region of the Gulf state.

The 50,000 t/y plant, capable of doubling capacity to 100,000 t/y in a second phase, will produce a wide range of EPS grades for applications ranging from construction to packaging and supply growing demand in the GCC region. It will be the biggest EPS facility in the MENA region.
