The Hoyer Group has invested extensively in two network locations for cleaning, workshop, and depot services. In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Laem Chabang, Thailand, network partner Cotac opened the expansion of two depots.
The two companies are thus further expanding their presence in the important Asia-Pacific logistics hub and specifically strengthening the added-value service portfolio for international customers in the chemical, gas, and food industries. The infrastructural expansion lays the foundation for even greater efficiency and future growth.
At the Ho Chi Minh City site, extensive investments were made in the existing facility, which was subsequently expanded. A modern office building provides the site with space for further growth, and the depot's capacity has been increased to over 1,000 tank containers. "Vietnam is currently one of our strongest-performing locations worldwide – both in terms of economic development and operational performance,” says Rickard Gonera, Managing Director of Cotac Asia. “We have established ourselves as a reliable partner, particularly in the field of specialized cleaning, and are able to handle demanding products such as MDI, TDI, and latex in a professionally correct way." Continuous employee training and close communication with the Cotac site in Singapore ensure high-quality standards, which will be maintained in the future through the expertise of a dedicated safety representative in Ho Chi Minh City, further optimizing processes.
At the same time, the Thailand site was also expanded. The depot capacity was increased from 900 to 1,600 tank containers. In addition, the cleaning processes and workshop areas were further developed in order to successfully meet the increasing requirements. In Laem Chabang, the team specializes in modifying tanks for European customers and preparing for future special cleaning. "With the expansions in Vietnam and Thailand, we are doing justice to the growing importance of these locations in Asia-Pacific and underlining our commitment to the region," says Gonera.
