The identity of the individual customers and project locations were not revealed. However, the plants will feature single reactors based on fifth-generation Euromel technology and have capacities of 60,000 t/y and 80,000 t/y when they start up.

These two new contracts lift the total licensed nameplate capacity to more than 1.13 million t/y, with 28 plants licensed worldwide, according to the Italian contractor.

Last month, Eurotecnica said it had won a contract for the world’s largest high-pressure melamine plant at 120,000 t/y from China’s Xinji Energy Chemical.
