EPA Plans to Revise Rules on Use of PCBs

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will seek input from small business, small government organizations and non-profit organizations in writing new regulations dealing with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).

The new rules could address existing liquid-filled PCB use authorizations, PCBs in fluorescent light ballasts, PCBs in natural gas pipelines, and regulatory language clarifications.
