DuPont Spin-Off Chemours Names Board of Directors

Chemours, the company to be created by the spinoff of DuPont's Performance Chemicals unit on July 1, has named the eight members of its board of directors.

Richard Brown, a former CEO of Electronic Data Systems and tax preparer H&R Block, will serve as chairman of the board, and Merk Vergnano, who will be president and CEO of Chemours, will also have a seat on the board.

Other board members will include Curtis Anastasio, Bradley Bell, Mary Cranston, Curtis Crawford, Dawn Farrell and Stephen Newlin.
