DuPont CEO Ellen Kullman Releases Statement On America Invents Act

DuPont's Chair and CEO Ellen Kullman said in a statement that the America Invents Act will help the company more quickly convert its almost $2 billion per year investment in research and development into innovations the company can bring to market with strong patent protection.

Ellen Kullman attended the signing of The America Invents Act (HR 1249) by U.S. President Barack Obama today. Kullman is a member of the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.

Ellen Kullman said, "The Act will speed R&D investment, new product development and the creation of jobs. It also will align the U.S. patent system more effectively with those of our global trading partners."
