Dow Corning Names Photovoltaic Research Scientist

Dow Corning has named Donald Wood as Photovoltaic Research Scientist within its Solar Business Unit. He will be based at Dow Corning's European headquarters in Belgium. Dr. Wood joins Dow Corning with a breadth of experience in semiconductor and solar cell research. Previously, he led an engineering team at Sixtron Advanced Materials and worked as a senior engineer at Filtronic Compound Semiconductors.In his new role, Dr. Wood will research and develop new materials and processes for photovoltaic cell manufacturing. He will work in a global team of about ten researchers and technicians at two Dow Corning sites.
