Coim Breaks Ground for Italian Polyols Plant

Italian polyester polyols producer Coim has broken ground for a new 35,000 t/y aliphatic and aromatic polyester polyols plant at Offanengo, Italy.

Completion of the facility is scheduled for September 2015, with some of the output planned to be used captively.

Growing demand for Coim's polyols products will soon absorb its production capability, said CEO Lucio Siano. He said the company is "committed" to the European rigid foam insulation market as well as coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers.
