Brenntag Pharma Enters into a Strategic Partnership with Evonik

An exclusive distribution agreement for Evonik Rexim amino acids strengthens Brenntag's role in the biopharma and API markets.

Brenntag has entered into a new strategic partnership with Evonik Rexim for the distribution of GMP-compliant amino acids in the European pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical markets. The agreement covers most of Europe, including the DACH region, the United Kingdom, France, Benelux, Scandinavia, CEE, Israel, Turkey, and more (excluding Italy, Ukraine, the Middle East, and Africa).

Evonik Rexim is a leading supplier of high-quality amino acids and offers European shipping for a large portion of its production. The company combines market leadership in the areas of fermentation, bioconversion, and synthetic manufacturing. The partnership with Brenntag supports the strategy to expand its presence in key global markets and offers customers improved local service, technical support, and long-term supply reliability.

“Our collaboration with Evonik reflects Brenntag’s commitment to bringing high-quality pharmaceutical ingredients and solutions closer to our customers,” says Joakim Rehné, President of Brenntag Pharma EMEA.
“Together, we are creating a stronger, more reliable supply network that accelerates innovation and ensures patients’ access to critical therapies,” Rehné continues.

“Our partnership with Brenntag significantly strengthens Evonik Rexim’s market reach,” says Thomas Hermann, Head of the Rexim product line at Evonik Health Care.
"Brenntag’s strong regional presence, close customer relationships, and extensive experience in the life sciences sector make it an ideal partner.
