Process engineering firm BPE and automation solutions provider Industrial Technology Systems (ITS) have signed a partnership agreement to collaborate within the life science, chemical and energy industries. The two companies said that, together, they will be able to provide a complementary range of specialist engineering skills and services from the early stages of process systems design, scale up and process development and optimization through to the design and integration of fully-validated automation, process control and data visualization solutions.

Noel Quigley, managing director at BPE, said: “We’re thrilled to combine the strengths of both companies to offer a full-service to businesses within the life science, chemical and energy industries. The expertise and services we offer dovetail perfectly and that will be of real benefit to clients.”

Malcolm Knott, ITS’ managing director, commented: “As a specialist independent company we have developed strong partnerships with leading automation suppliers and gained an excellent reputation in the design and integration of validated process control, safety and automation solutions in the life science, chemical, nuclear and energy sectors.

“We are delighted to announce our new partnership with BPE. The complementary services provided by both companies will enable us to work together to add value earlier in the projects by helping clients to optimize processes during the design and build, scale up and the manufacturing phases. Both ITS and BPE have very similar values, which should bode well for the future,” Knott added.
