Biesterfeld Spezialchemie Starts Activities in UK

Effective January 1st, 2014 Biesterfeld Spezialchemie will start activities in cooperation with Biesterfeld Petroplas in UK and Ireland.

Since 1986 the Oxfordshire based company Biesterfeld Petroplas has offered a wide range of thermoplastic resins from global leading producers to the polymer industry in the UK and Ireland.

In 2006 Biesterfeld Petroplas was integrated into the Biesterfeld Group as a joint venture of Petroplas and Biesterfeld Plastic, which today holds a majority stake.

"Biesterfeld Spezialchemie is looking forward to further expand its specialty chemical business in the UK and Ireland together with Biesterfeld Petroplas. The successful joint venture of Biesterfeld Petroplas is a guarantee for a prosperous development of our specialty chemical business. With this cooperation we will continue to pursue our focus on further growth into the Western European regions," Thomas Arnold, Managing Director, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie said.
