BASF Names Viachem Distributor For Phenoxyethanol and Biocides In North America

BASF has entered an agreement with Viachem to serve as an authorized distributor of phenoxyethanol and other biocide products including bronopol and glutaraldehyde.

"We selected Viachem based on its approach to using a comprehensive and customized market analysis to identify potential and existing users of a specific chemical product," said Todd Butler, Biocides Product Manager, Care Chemicals, for BASF in North America.
"We believe that our partnership with Viachem will help us to better serve our key markets and help us expand our customer base."

"The phenoxyethanol and biocide product lines are an excellent fit for Viachem, and the Viachem sales model is an attractive option for BASF as it expands sales within existing markets to serve a wider range of customers," said Mike Efting, President and Chief Executive Officer of Viachem.
