Akzonobel Appoints New CIO

Pieter Schoehuijs has been ­appointed as AkzoNobel's new Chief Information Officer. He took up the position on May 1. Schoehuijs joined the company from Church & Dwight Corporation in New Jersey in the U.S., where he held the position of VP & CIO. Prior to this position, he was the Global IT Director at BASF Catalyst, formerly Engelhard, also located in the U.S.. Schoehuijs succeeds Gerard Helmink, who has held various positions across Information Technology within the company for more than 40 years
