Air Products To Hike North American Prices & Service Charges

Air Products & Chemicals announced Thursday its intent to raise product pricing on liquid and bulk industrial gases, and also service charges, in North America. The changes will be effective October 1, or as contracts permit.

Liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, and liquid and bulk hydrogen prices are expected to go up 5 to 10%. Monthly service charges may see a 3 to 5% hike. The company hopes to offset increases in operating costs and input costs through these price changes.
