Air Products Extends Ghasemi’s contract to 2025 (c) Air Products

US industrial gases producer Air Products has extended the term of its chairman, president and chief executive officer, Seifi Ghasemi, through September 30, 2025.

Ghasemi was first named to the tripartite position in November 2014. His term was initially extended  through September 30, 2022, with three additional years now being tacked on.

Chad Deaton, lead director of Air Products, said, that under Ghasemi’s leadership the gases producer “continues to perform at an exceptional level and deliver on its commitments in financial performance, global growth, inclusion, technology, employee development and shareholder returns,” underscoring that the board understands the importance of maintaining continuity as it pursues greater growth globally.
