Air Liquide Wins Chinese Contract for Displays

French technical gases producer Air Liquide has won a contract to supply the Chinaese BOE Technology Group's new G8.5 Flat Panel Display Device and System Project at Chongqing.
BOE's new display production line, set to start up in the first half of next year, will produce displays for laptops, tablets and high-end monitors, using proprietary independent core technologies such as Oxide-TFT or touch technology.
Air Liquide will supply 30,000 Nm3/h of ultra-high purity nitrogen and associated bulk gas infrastructure to the majority of BOE's facilities in China from a new €30m purpose-built high efficiency turnkey on-site gas supply system.
