2 New Members Named to BASF Board








BASF has announced two new additions to its board of executive directors: Margret Suckale, who will become industrial relations director and head of Ressort II; and Michael Heinz, who will take over as head of Ressort IV. The appointments will be effective at the end of the company's annual meeting on May 6.
At the same time, Dr. Hans-Ulrich Engel will become CFO and will be responsible for Ressort III. He will be located in the U.S. He will be succeeded by Dr. Harald Schwager as head of Ressort V.
The company has previously announced the appointment of Dr. Kurt Bock as chairman of the board of executive directors. Bock will succeed Dr. Jürgen Hambrecht, along with board member Dr. John Feldman, will retired at the end of the annual meeting next year.
