Nuberg EPC Partners with EDL Anlagenbau for Green Petrochemical Solutions
Nuberg EPC and EDL Anlagenbau from Germany have signed an agreement to explore engineering and sustainable development opportunities across industries, including fuel oil refineries, petrochemical industries, green hydrogen derivatives & sustainable process technologies to accelerate technological excellence and environmental responsibility.

This collaboration represents a strategic partnership between Nuberg and EDL, combining expertise in EPC project execution with advanced process technologies. The partnership is intended to support the development of next-generation solutions in the sector.
Key Highlights of the Partnership
Transforming bottom-of-the-barrel products for high-value outputs
Another key focus of this partnership will be the extraction of valuable products from the bottom-of-the-barrel—transforming waste into high-value products and minimizing environmental impact by advanced technologies, including:
- Solvent Deasphalting (SDA)
- Solvent Extraction of Lube Cuts to obtain TDAE / TRAE
- Dewaxing / Deoiling
- Complex greasing
- Re-refining of used oil.
- Green hydrogen & its derivatives -
The agreement is intended to promote collaboration between the two companies on industrial transformation initiatives with a focus on clean and sustainable technologies. Areas of interest include green hydrogen and its derivatives, such as green ammonia, green methanol, and sustainable aviation fuels.

The initiative will support skill development through training programs and introduce advanced sustainable technologies to the Indian market. Nuberg EPC contributes expertise in EPC execution and emerging markets, while EDL brings experience in refinery and petrochemical technologies and sustainable process engineering.
