Tuesday, 30th June 2020, 14:00 (GMT)
with Jenny Lovell, Royal Society of Chemistry

A challenge that will be very important for the specialty chemicals sector to consider in the future is the sustainability of polymers in liquid formulated products (PLFs). In this webinar, Jenny Lovell who leads collaboration programs at the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) will present her insights from a cross-industry project exploring how Circular Economy principles could apply to these materials.

Drawing from input from several industry experts from 25 organizations representing FMCG, agrochemicals, water, coatings and petrochemicals industries, the webinar will provide a cross-industry perspective on tackling key challenges for PLFs.

This webinar will cover:

  • The complex societal, regulatory and environmental drivers for improving sustainability
  • The key technical challenges in research and industry that need to be addressed in applying Circular Economy principles to PLFs
  • Four key focus areas that businesses want to work on collaboratively

By joining this webinar, attendees will gain a high-level appreciation of the technical challenges your customers have and the key areas that businesses want to work on collaboratively with the specialty chemicals sector and the wider markets it serves.
