Henkel has agreed to acquire Dutch-based specialty coatings company Stahl for €2.1 billion to strengthen and expand its Adhesive Technologies business into adjacent high-performance coatings markets.
Dutch coatings technology specialist Stahl has completed the acquisition of ICP Industrial Solutions Group (ISG). The major producer of high-performance coatings for packaging and labeling applications is a division of Innovative Chemical Products (ICP).

AkzoNobel has completed its acquisition of Stahl Performance Powder Coatings, adding to its range of products for heat sensitive substrates. The Dutch coatings giant said the deal gives it accelerated access to unique low curing technology and strengthens its position as a complete provider of sustainable solutions for these substrates, in particular for its wood coatings customers.
