WeylChem U.S. Inc. expanding at Kershaw County facility

WeylChem U.S. Inc., a provider of custom manufacturing and tolling services, as well as advanced intermediates and reagents is announcing the expansion of its Kershaw County facility. The $10.8 million investment is expected to create 49 new jobs

The company is improving the site infrastructure at its manufacturing plant in Elgin, S.C., adding equipment with computer controls to enable the company to better serve the chemical industry in a more environmentally responsible way.

WeylChem is part of a group of companies owned by the International Chemical Investors Group. The company specializes in developing and producing products used in the agricultural and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in the development of polymers and specialty chemicals.
All job openings with WeylChem are to be filled by the SC Workforce Center.
