Pascal Juéry joins Solvay's Executive Committee

Solvay announces the appointment of Pascal Juéry as member of its Executive Committee. Until then he was President of the Group's Essential Chemicals activity.

Having graduated at the European Business School of Paris (ESCP-Europe), Pascal Juéry began his career at the internal audit team of Rhône-Poulenc in 1988, following a first professional experience in South Korea. After that, he took on several responsibilities at Rhodia Novecare, first as General Manager for Europe, then in charge of the Home & Personal Care segment worldwide.

In 2006, he became Head of Procurement at Rhodia. In 2008, he returned to the United States as General Manager for Rhodia Novecare.

Pascal Juéry joined Rhodia's Executive Committee in 2010.

After the acquisition of Rhodia by Solvay, he was appointed President of Solvay Essential Chemicals. He was tasked with the reorganisation of Essential Chemicals and the creation of two new Global Business Units, Soda Ash and Hydrogen Peroxides, which have been operational since the beginning of January. Pascal Juéry also launched an ambitious plan to improve long term profitability at Soda Ash.
