Quaker Chemical and Den Hartogh Liquid Logistics signed a three-year contract, renewing their cooperation that originated in 2011. The agreement allows for bulk liquid transportation inbound and outbound from Quaker Chemical's site in Uithoorn (The Netherlands). Henk Struiwigh, Director Global Operations at Quaker Chemical stated, "During the first term Den Hartogh lived up to the spirit of the contract to supply excellent delivery performance combined with an ambition towards continuous improvement."

Jacco van Holten, Commercial Director at Den Hartogh Liquid Logistics: "With our team on site, including customer service and loading and delivery operators, we have become very familiar with Quaker. Through close cooperation we have succeeded in changing many of the remote road deliveries to intermodal; increasing the payload and reducing the cost per ton."

The renewed contract furthers both parties' ambitions toward improving safety and increasing supply chain efficiencies.
