Asia Chemical Network

12.06.2026 - 12.06.2026

Hamburg, Germany

The Asia Chemical Network event takes place under the motto "Europe and Asia in dialogue, partnership in global chemical supply chains" and brings together professionals from across the chemical industry to exchange perspectives on Europe Asia cooperation, supply chains and market realities. The event is designed as a focused network platform with international speakers, open dialogue and practical insights for decision makers.

The Asia Chemical Network is an independent industry platform with the aim of connecting companies and professionals along the chemical industry value chain. The focus is on partnership-based exchange between Europe and Asia, improving mutual understanding of each other's markets, and promoting long-term, trust-based business relationships. The network's events are deliberately not designed as traditional sales or marketing formats, but as a dialogue platform on an equal footing, focusing on content, experiences, and perspectives.

Steve Laborda, CEO, chemical industry expert, and author, will kick off the conference. In his keynote speech, he will set the strategic framework for the event and classify key developments and areas of action in the global chemical industry.

Hauke Simon, partner at EY Parthenon, will then shed light on the transformation of the chemical industry, with a particular focus on strategy, value creation models, and structural changes in chemical distribution.

Thomas Heinrich, Managing Director of Oqema Switzerland, will provide practical insights from his many years of audit experience in China and highlight the operational and qualitative insights that European companies can gain from on-site audits of Asian production structures.

Venu Nayar, CEO of Petrochem Middle East, will provide the Middle East perspective. His presentation will outline the development of regional trade structures and the strategic factors behind the rise to become the leading chemical distributor in the Middle East.

The program will be complemented by Sultan Allihyani from Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company. He will shed light on Saudi Arabia's industrial development, investment dynamics in the petrochemical industry, and the country's future global positioning.

With this international lineup of speakers, the Asia Chemical Network underscores its commitment to providing in-depth insights into market mechanisms, supply chain structures, and regional developments, while promoting personal exchange between market participants.

In addition to the technical presentations, the event offers extensive networking opportunities between producers, distributors, and industry partners, thus creating a platform for future cooperation along the Europe, Asia, and Middle East axis.

Participation is subject to a participation fee of 100 € plus applicable VAT, currently a total of 119 €.
