IUPAC's Global Women's Breakfast 2026

As part of Wiley's mission towards furthering DE&I (read more here: https://chemistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/hub/diversity-equity-inclusion), we are hosting an event connected to the “IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast”, GWB26, an initiative of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC - find out more: https://iupac.org/gwb/). The event will take place in our Weinheim and Berlin offices, and is designed to bring together scientists of all genders working predominantly in the field of Chemistry and related disciplines who are interested in helping to promote equality and diversity.

Aligning with the global theme of GWB26, “Many Voices, one Science”, we will feature stimulating input talks, including from Prof. Eva Blasco (Universität Heidelberg) & Svjetlana Jerkovic (Women in Chemicals | IMAGINE | ICL Group, Amsterdam), as well as discussions centring on The Power of Networks. After the talks – which will be livestreamed between the Weinheim and Berlin sessions and also to our global audience – there will be room to discuss and network among the participants and participating editors from our journals, accompanied by food and beverages.
