PlasticsEurope Deutschland e. V. is the association of plastics manufacturers in Germany. We are a trade association of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI) and part of the European network Plastics Europe, with representation in Brussels and in European economic centers and capitals.

The European plastics industry wants to continue to make a significant contribution to prosperity in the future. Our goal: to improve quality of life, use resources efficiently, and protect the climate through innovation. Plastics are an essential material for sustainable living and for achieving climate protection goals. Whether in wind turbines, energy-efficient houses, or e-mobility, high-performance plastics enable savings in resources and CO2 emissions.

Currently, more than 1.5 million people work in the plastics industry across the EU in around 55,000 companies.
