Since 2004, the TechnologieZentrum Ludwigshafen am Rhein GmbH / BIC Rhein-Neckar (TZL) has been running chem2biz in partnership with BASF SE. The core aim of this Initiative is to expand the chemical cluster and to boost the Ludwigshafen site. The chem2biz Initiative supports companies from the chemistry-based sectors of chemistry, nano­technology, new materials, biotechnology as well as process and analytical technology in starting up and growing their business.
