Lummus wins Uzbek Ethylene Project
“We are grateful to continue our partnership at Shurtan and look forward to working with Enter Engineering to expand the ethylene production while reducing relative emissions and operating costs at the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex,” said Lummus Technology president and CEO Leon de Bruyn, who added that the SRT furnaces “optimize reliability in capacity, yield, run-length and energy efficiency.”
The US process licensing group said it was selected due to its leading ethylene technology position and its extensive experience with ethylene furnaces. Lummus claims to have provided more ethylene furnaces than any other process licensor, representing more than 40% of global capacity.
