Reducing Footprints with Concept Engineering
#achema2018 - Ever wondered how the flow of a viscous liquid can be made turbulent? Does there exist an arrangement that would enhance the heat transfer coefficient without altering the material of construction? Deriving their inspiration from Calgavin, a UK-based multinational, a group of young individuals led a pioneering foundation of in-tube and on-tube heat transfer solutions in the form of Concept Engineering.
Optimizing heat transfer implies balancing heat transfer on either side. The side with the least transfer co-efficient usually limits the efficient transfer of heat and, therefore, is in need of surface modifications to enhance the heat transfer interface. Concept Engineering has been a brand name in the field of turbulators. These turbulators not only enhance the heat transfer but also prevent fouling, thereby allowing easy cleaning and maintenance.
