In his new role, he will lead strategic growth ambitions by focusing on the expansion of new and existing principals, driving commercial excellence, exploring opportunities for M&As, developing talents, and further advance the digitalization of the business.

Garbotz will be based at the IMCD offices in Zurich, Switzerland, and will be reporting to Frank Schneider. Since January 2020, Garbotz was responsible for managing the Business Units Pharma, Beauty & Personal Care as well as Home Care, I&I at IMCD Germany. Prior to joining IMCD, he held different leadership roles at BASF. Garbotz holds a PhD in Business Administration from RWTH Aachen University, Germany.
