Mobile Cleanroom Workbench
ICP-AES (inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy) - Mobile Analyses under Cleanroom Conditions
The Spetec in Erding (Bavaria, Germany) now introduces another cleanroom version to complement the already offered cell-type cleanrooms and the laminar flow boxes. The added cleanroom workbench rounds off the product line. Spetec is able to customize the cleanroom workbench to satisfy individual customer demands. The customer benefits from receiving cleanroom workbenches with exactly the required design, features and dimensions.
The workbench accommodates completely equipped and loaded sample changers under cleanroom conditions. This shields the analyzed samples against contaminants in the surrounding environment. The sample preparation is another application.
Spetec usually manufactures the workbench from aluminium profiles, which are suitable for cleanrooms. Glass and plexiglass are alternative materials for the side panels. A surround slat curtain can replace the side panels of the box. A laminar flow module is mounted on the top panel of the cleanroom box. This module creates class 5 cleanroom conditions inside the box, i.e. the count of 0.15-µm sized particles is barely 100. A similar count for an ordinary office or laboratory would be around 500,000. The air around the cleanroom workbench is therefore about 10,000 times cleaner than the air surrounding the box.
