Harke Distributes Sunil Healthcare’s Capsules in Europe
27.02.2018 -
Sunil Healthcare, one of India’s largest capsules manufacturer, has appointed Germany-based Harke as exclusive pan-European distributor for its empty HPMC and hard gelatine capsules. The new partnership strengthens the portfolio of Harke for solid dosage forms.
Daniel Burchart, managing director of Harke Pharma said: “We have lots of experience in the capsule markets since 2004. After having lost distribution rights for this product group in a major European Market, we were aiming for a new supplier with the potential to develop dedicated markets together with us. Ideally, this partner would have experience in the capsule production with excellent quality, an understanding for Nutraceutical and Pharma markets as well as sufficient capacities. After the evaluation of the supplier situation Sunil Healthcare was the most promising candidate. We had a good feeling that they would be eager to work with us, as they have penetrated us already for several years, but due to the existing contracts in a major market, we did not see any potential for a fruitful co-operation. With the end of the contract we could now start the co-operation with the one of the biggest capsule manufacturer in India from 01.01.2018.”
Commenting on this new alliance, Tapan Sharma, manager International Sales added: “We are excited to partner with a well reputed and an established and credible company like Harke Pharma for distribution of our quality empty capsules in the European region. We have been seeding this market for quite a few years now, and have been exploring the best strategic fit for our ambitions. We are pleased to have found a like-minded business associate in Harke Pharma, and are confident that together we can quickly scale up the market geographies by developing and executing niche strategies aimed at achieving ‘Customer Delight’. The fulcrum of our business will revolve around providing complete customer satisfaction from concept to commercialization, and we are optimistic in delivering this through this strategic alliance.”
