Qatar Fertilizer Company (QAFCO) has signed an agreement with Hamburg, Germany-based chemical distributor Helm to export and distribute 18,000 metric tons of Melamine to Europe. Speaking on the occasion, QAFCO Managing Director, Khalifa AI Sowaidi said. "The agreement was in line with QAFCO's marketing strategy to expand its product reach to the European markets." He further added that the agreement will be a milestone for future business relationships in the region. Hartmut Glaser, Executive Board Member of Helm sees the cooperation as an accelerator for the development of his company towards a leading global marketer for melamine.
