The Toray Group operates globally, offering a range of solutions in the semiconductor, electronic component, and display sectors. The group is leveraging its comprehensive strengths in the expanding semiconductor market, which is growing by 10% annually. Taiwan, a leader in advanced semiconductor technology, is investing NT$300 billion (~ €8.9 billion) over 10 years to foster industry development, including establishing research academies at major universities.

In this context, Toray has begun collaborating with local companies in Taiwan, developing and marketing new products such as mold release films for advanced packaging and multicore optical fiber for optoelectronic fusion technologies. The Toray Taiwan Technical Center will enhance collaboration with research institutions and universities, supporting the development of advanced semiconductor-related technologies and materials to meet local customer needs.
