Pharmaserv Logistics, the contract logistics service provider specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, is expanding its existing GMP warehouse capacity at its Behringwerke site in Marburg, Germany.

A further new extension will complete the expansion to create a "Central Pharmaceutical Distribution Centre" by late 2015. From 2016 onwards, additional new customers in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical care sectors will be serviced from there. Different temperature ranges are now available to customers for the storage, handling and distribution of pharmaceutical productions – naturally all GMP and GDP-compliant.

Pharmaserv Logistics' new build enables the service provider to meet the rising demand for specialist logistics services for sensitive and temperature-controlled drugs. The central distribution center concept also efficiently supports international pharmaceutical customers in their efforts to penetrate and supply the European market.
