K+S Pulls Businesses Together into One Entity

As part of its new strategy Shaping 2030, German minerals and agriculture group K+S has taken another step toward merging businesses under the roof of "One K+S". Subsidiaries K+S KALI and esco - european salt company are now operating under the new name of K+S Minerals and Agriculture.
In July of this year, the disposal and logistics activities were grouped under K+S KALI.
By bundling all of its German potash, salt, waste disposal and transportation activities in a single entity, the Kassel-based group said it can more easily achieve a wide range of synergies in production, engineering and logistics to further improve its response to customer demand
The name K+S Minerals and Agriculture was entered in the commercial register on October 31, 2019. Alexa Hergenröther, who is CEO of the Europe+ operating unit, and Bastian Siebert, head of operations for the same unit, are both general managers of the company.
K+S operates at more than 90 locations on five continents, with production facilities in Europe, North and South America.
