Increasing the filling output:
With the modern drum filling equipment by Feige FILLING
In hall 3.0 at stand F38, interested visitors to the Achema can obtain information on one of the current product highlights produced by Feige FILLING: the Advanced Line drum filler type 84 for fully automatic and calibrated filling of bunghole drums. In addition, HAVER & BOECKER will be exhibiting the new generation of INTEGRA® filling systems for tubular film, while the technology subsidiary SOMMER Maschinen- und Anlagenbau will be presenting a coaxial mixer.
With type 84, Feige FILLING, specialist in the field of filling technology, offers its customers a machine that is able to considerably increase the hourly filling output. This is achieved by four work stations, which fully automatically and with calibrated accuracy fill steel or plastic drums between 50 l and 230 l in the course of the process. This year, FEIGE will be presenting an upgrade that comes up with many technical novelties and refinements.
A chain conveyor ensures that the drums are transported through the machine and delivered to the individual stations in single cycle mode. Positioning and de-bunging, filling and closing the drums is done automatically. As an option, it is possible to integrate a pre-filling station to provide an additional increase in performance.
The new design is equipped with the Siemens control system PLC-7 and the new FEIGE weighing technology FS-T10e. With that, the automatic filling unit type 84 offers the customer any conceivable reporting and statistics possibilities. At the customer's request, the equipment can also be supplied in stainless steel and acid protection design and is suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres zone 1, ATEX design II 2 G c IIB T3.
Production and packaging line by SOMMER and FEIGE
The filling unit is complemented by the SOMMER coaxial mixer that offers a capacity of 300l. It is particularly suited for the manufacture of highly viscous
products up to 200,000 mPas. Thanks to the variable use of high-performance mixing tools, it can be efficiently adapted to a wide variety of production conditions. Another advantage offered by the coaxial mixer: It is able to disperse already at minimal volumes and can produce even small quantities that make up approx. 20 % of its cubic capacity.
HAVER & BOECKER is presenting the next INTEGRA® generation
At the Achema , the system provider for complete packaging and bag handling lines from Oelde will for the first time be presenting equipment from the next INTEGRA® FFS generation. INTEGRA® stands for stationary, enclosed and complete packaging systems for filling cement, construction materials, minerals, chemical products, food- and feedstuffs. The entire range of the new Form Fill Seal designs will have been developed to market maturity by the end of this year. The concept is designed for large equipment with a performance of 3,200 S/h.
At the Achema in Frankfurt, the technology brands around HAVER & BOECKER will be exclusively showcasing the full range of their innovations in hall 3.0, stand F38 from 15 to 19 June 2015.
